A Star

A Star
By-Amanda D. Petty

A waltzing star dancing across the black for me to see,
Below was The Lord, born in front of cows, donkeys, horses.
Love from our Heavenly Father gave us, everyday people.

A slow star moving across the darkness,
Shepherds, Wise Men obeyed The Angel,
Saying, “Fear not, for I bring you good tidings of great joy.”

A precious star lightens the way to Him,
Simple Birth, a King, my Savior, I worship.
A Babe, a Friend, understands.

A blessed star knows how to love.
Love for the non-believers,
Love for all.

A singing star with a song of hope.
A redeemer comes to save me,
Saving me from my sins, my fears.

A star, a sign of a rebirth,
Rebirth of my soul, my body, my heart.
A sign of excellent report.

A star.
